Pawprint - Your Carbon Tracker1.82.1 - App Store

Pawprint is the eco companion to nudge you towards climate-friendly choices.

Here’s how it works: first, measure your impact with our carbon footprint calculator. Then, learn how to shrink it. For those who use Pawprint through their employer, you also get to feed back ideas and thoughts on sustainability initiatives, which means driving your workplace faster towards its climate targets.

With us, employees and employers alike are empowered to do better than offsetting their carbon footprint (no offense, offsetting apps), by simply not emitting carbon in the first place. Sounds pretty great, right?

Pitch Pawprint to your boss today and we’ll do the rest.

‘Saving the planet and combating climate change has never been so easy or fun. Everyone should be using Pawprint to reduce their carbon footprint.' ~ Pawprint user

CALCULATE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT

Wise guy, Aristotle, once said that knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom. By answering some easy questions, our science-based carbon footprint calculator will enlighten you on the environmental impact of your lifestyle. Again, if you’re using Pawprint for Business then there’s an At Work survey too (yes, we think of everything)... When you’re done, you’ll be like a miniature buddha. With more hair.

UNDERSTAND THE IMPACT OF YOUR ACTIONS

Ever thought to yourself, ‘How bad are bananas?’ or ‘I wonder how much better the bus actually is...’. Well, now you can know. Pawprint tells you the carbon emission impact of your choices, helping you pick your battles and hone in on areas you can really make a difference. Our calcs are verified by our scientific advisor, Prof. Mike Berners-Lee; a VIP in the carbon world.

SEE YOUR CARBON FOOTPRINT SHRINK

The ‘reduce’ tab exists both to teach you how to live more sustainably, and to give you recognition for the carbon-saving actions you’re already taking. Log an Action and receive ‘Pawpoints’ (more on them in a bit) plus an indication of how much carbon you’re saving. Repeat Actions to unlock Habits which subtract that carbon from your carbon footprint (or Pawprint, as we like to call it). Then, join or create a group to start building your own eco community. Together you take on group challenges to magnify your impact.

CONTRIBUTE TO CLIMATE PROJECTS

Individual climate action must occur in two parts; cutting your carbon and pushing for change. The former is intrinsic to our app, but the latter we make possible too! You’re rewarded for your carbon cutting efforts with ‘Pawpoints’, a currency which you can spend voting for verified charities/enterprises fighting climate change, which we donate to each month.

We’re uniting people in the fight against climate change; join us. And while you’re en route, bring your employer along for the ride. More really is merrier!

“The actions are easy to follow and when they become habits and you see the g/kg CO2e that you’ve reduced, it makes you feel you are doing your bit to help the climate emergency by making small changes!” ~ Catriona Paterson, Visit Scotland
